| Public transport |
Use underground U3 to station Erdberg. Then go Erdbergstrasse 300m SE and up the pedestrian-bridge Gaswerksteg passing over the motorway A4-Ostautobahn and the danube-channel. When you go down from the bridge you are direct at the sport-playing-ground Birkenwiese.
Total walking-time about 15 minutes.

| Cars and Coaches |
Free parking for cars and coaches under the motorway A23.
Look for Stadionbrücke over the danube-channel, Stadionallee, at traffic-light to the right Lusthausstrasse, when passing under the motorway turn right and park under the motorway. From here signed to Sportplatz Birkenwiese about 500 meters.
For "safe" parking you may also use the park-house U3 Erdberg and follow the way like "public transport".

If the entry-fee was not paid in full or the bank took some fees you have to pay the difference at the competition-center after your arrival. Also the SI-rent of Euro 2,-/day
It is even possible to buy the rented card for additional Euro 20,-

Photos of the competition area
Vienna's recreation area (former imperial hunting grounds). Flat area with old parts of the river Danube. Nature-reservat. Fallen trees are not taken away. On "yellow" meadows grass is regulary cutted. Horses and many runners in the area. Good runnability with areas of rough runnability. Several bomb craters from the 2nd world war. Because of much rain this year there is much undergrowth.
